The christening of Histria Dione from the ECO MAX MR1 series

On August 14, the christening of Histria Dione from the ECO MAX MR1 series took place at SNC Shipyard.

This vessel is the second in a series of a total of six ships.  SNC SHIP DESIGN has made numerous improvements to its newest generation of ECO MAX MR1 vessels.

The new vessel utilizes a unique hull form derived from the design and manufacturing capabilities, providing exceptional fuel efficiency and high compatibility to the various terminals in the world.

The eco-friendly ship is characterized by modern technology, particularly in the range of propulsion and automation. The vessel is built under supervision of RINA Classification Society and is operated by Histria Shipmanagement.

Histria Dione has a length of 180m, width of 32.2m and a draft of 11.2m . Gross tonnage is approximately  40,000 tons, with a total tank holding capacity of 49,500 m3.  

Going forward, SNC SHIP DESIGN will continue development of tanker vessels with exceptional fuel efficiency and sustainable performance, in order to contribute to stable energy supplies and environmental conservation.
